Mike Ware — Blades of War
Mike Ware has felt death all around. A survivor of accidents, war, and risky behavior — he's a caretaker, a teacher, and soon-to-be author. A Vietnam Vet Huey helicopter pilot in 1968, the bloodiest year of the war, Mike went from taking lives to saving them with Life Flights. He learned to fly at 15 and is now one of the oldest flight instructors in the USA. His memoir, Blades of War, releases in 2026.

Gregory David — 4,000 Jumps and a 60-Foot Fall
A parachute jumper, photographer, filmmaker, a survivor, and a witness to the history of apartheid growing up in South Africa in the 1970s and 80s. Gregory has done 4,000 parachute jumps, one of which almost killed him. In 1981, his parachutes collapsed — he fell 60 feet and broke his back. He chose to heal without surgery, against the advice of the doctors, and miraculously recovered to jump again, and stay active. Hear how Gregory has started his life over several times, from accidents, careers, political upheaval, and love.
